What is Provenant?
Provenant is the control plane and tamper-evident system-of-record for autonomous AI agents. Every action routed through it is authorized against your rules, executed only when allowed, and written to a hash-chained audit ledger - so you get provable control over what your agents do.
The model (read this first)
An agent may act only within a mandate, under org policies, inside budgets, within the connector's scope when it acts through one, and subject to rate limits and a behavioral risk gate. On every routed action these checks run in order and the most restrictive outcome wins (deny > require approval > allow). Every check is returned as an explainable trail, so you always see why.
